The Honda CR-X, introduced in 1983, quickly became one of the most desired sports cars among young American drivers at the time. While it may be a bit of a stretch to call the CR-X a sports car, it could be more accurately described as a car for sporty driving, or a sporty compact car. For convenience, however, it’s commonly referred to as a sports car or compact sports car.
